Student ambassadors and the employees at Snead State will create two pop-up parks on the campus by using recycled and repurposed materials. The community is invited to join us on the work days and/or at the ribbon cutting. We are currently asking for donations of old ropes, old tires/rims, pallets, old fruit crates, flower pots, baskets, outdoor tables, water hoses, benches, stepping stones, wagons, bird baths, old windows/frames/stained glass, scrap wood, metal, signs, swings, glass bottles, old bicycles, ladders and old newspaper stands.
Work days will be held Monday, Nov. 4 – Thursday, Nov. 7 from 1-5 p.m. daily. The ribbon cutting will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8.
