SUMMARY:Weevil Food Pantry/Student Emergency Aid
DESCRIPTION:The College provides a free food pantry on each campus for student usage.  Students may pick up pantry items anytime the College is open.  This service is provided through donations from faculty\, staff\, students\, food drives by sponsored campus clubs and organizations\, as well as grant awards and partnerships with Walmart\, Publix\, and the Wiregrass Food Bank.  Emergency Aid is provided to students who are experiencing short-term financial difficulty.  Students who apply for this may receive a Walmart gift card\, gas card\, assistance with bills\, etc.  This is sponsored by the ESCC Foundation and supported through monetary donations from faculty and staff

DESCRIPTION:The Chattahoochee Valley Community College’s Hall of Fame Event has been the CVCC Foundation’s largest fundraiser since 2014. The awards recognize individuals who\, through their exceptional work and achievements\, have made significant contributions to their professions\, communities\, and CVCC. These nominees who embody the highest standards of excellence are recognized by the Chattahoochee Valley Community College Foundation each March. DESCRIPTION:Graphic illustrations created in blue tape are displayed on building walls created by graphic art communications and drafting and design students.  This event is free and open to the public.
