SUMMARY:Alabama People Against A Littered State (ALPALS) “Don’t Drop It On Alabama” Statewide Spring Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:This annual event is dedicated to making Alabama more beautiful by cleaning up litter in our streets\, streams\, campuses\, and coastlines. Chilton-Clanton Campus participants pick up trash at the Clanton ballpark. St. Clair-Pell City Campus participants pick up trash around the campus and parking lot\, along Veteran’s Parkway\, at Ascension St. Vincent’s St. Clair\, and the veterans’ home. Jefferson and Shelby-Hoover campuses partner with the Cahaba River Society and ALPALS to clean up the Cahaba River by canoe or traversing the banks of the main Cahaba and upstream on the Little Cahaba.
