DESCRIPTION:Eli Pinhas’ parents were both Holocaust survivors from the city of Thessaloniki\, Greece. Pinhas will give a presentation about his parents and other family members experiences at the time Thessaloniki was occupied by the Nazis to after the war. Over 95% of the 50\,000 Jewish population of the city were sent to their death at the hand of the Nazis.
