High School Diploma Options (HSDO)

If you did not pass the Alabama graduation exam or did not earn enough credits to graduate from your Alabama high school, Alabama’s Adult Education program may be able to help you earn your high school diploma through the High School Diploma Option. We can help develop a plan for residents who are at least 18 years of age with at least 10 high school credit hours from a school in Alabama. 

We work with your local high school to help you fulfill the necessary requirements for earning your high school diploma. Connect with your nearest Adult Education Provider to find out the steps you need to take to earn your diploma.
