This course is presented by the Investigative Support Unit of the Alabama Community College System.

This course covers essential legal updates including new Alabama laws passed during the last legislative session, as well as significant recent court decisions from the United States Supreme Court, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Alabama Supreme Court. Learn how these changes affect your duties, responsibilities, and authority as a law enforcement officer. Understanding these updates is essential for effective, lawful policing and legally protecting both yourself and your department.
