ALABAMA STRONG INITIATIVE

Free Training Available

Through the Alabama STRONG initiative the ACCS is offering innovative skills-based education and training programs that lead to national industry-recognized credentials, including:

  • Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC)
    • Certified Production Technician (CPT)
    • Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)
  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
  • Alabama Certified Worker (ACW) credential Social services and completer stipends to support at-risk populations in completion of training

 

Ready-to-Work and MSSC training is provided by the Alabama STRONG project, a $3.5 million workforce initiative equally funded by the Alabama Community College System and the Appalachian Regional Commission.
