ACCS Success Video: Alabama Community Colleges offering Mercedes specific training
We are currently accepting applications at two of the four Alabama community colleges offering the Mercedes Technician program. The program is focused on providing students with the fundamental skills associated with Mercedes-Benz vehicle technology. Successful completion of the program leads to many great career opportunities, such as: Vehicle repair technician, Production Team Member, Team Leader, or Group Leader in either one of our assembly production areas. Within these roles, other opportunities exist, such as: Project Team Member with an opportunity for international travel, Continuous improvement Team Member.
Work-Based Learning
ACCS offers company-specific work-based learning opportunities to students across the state. These programs are community college specific and require a close relationship between the company and college. Whether you’re seeking students for an apprenticeship, internship, or co-op, our colleges are ready to work with you.
Customized Training
Community colleges can work with companies to create customized training packages for your required training or re-training needs. Our instructional teams are available during the day, on the weekends, or online. Instruction can be segmented or all-inclusive in one day. Contact your local community college’s Workforce Development official for more information.
The Alabama Technology Network is a part of the Alabama Community College System and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership. ATN’s team of experts helps solve the needs of industries and businesses through innovative, sustainable, cost-effective solutions. We can conduct detailed needs assessments, outline potential solutions based on the results, and then provide technical assistance to help you solve issues that affect productivity.
