Natalie English, Executive Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) at the Alabama Community College System, has been selected to serve on the national Finance and Audit Committee of Advance CTE. Advance CTE is the longest-standing national non-profit that represents State Directors and state leaders responsible for secondary, postsecondary and adult Career Technical Education (CTE) across all 50 states and U.S. territories. 

As part of the committee, English is expected to have a voice in ensuring Advance CTE remains in good standing and is positioned for fiscal success through its mission to cultivate best practices and advance high-quality CTE policies programs and pathways across the country.

English was previously chosen to serve as a coach for Advance CTE’s Postsecondary State CTE Leaders Fellowship recipients as a result of her reputation as a “well-respected and recognized leader in the field of Career and Technical Education,” according to the organization.

English has served in CTE for more than 30 years, five of which have been with the ACCS.
