Organizational Effectiveness and Research

The mission of the office of Organizational Effectiveness and Research is to provide ACCS stakeholders with actionable data with which decisions can be made to help colleges provide effective support leading to student success.

The office of OER offers the following services:

  • We respond to data requests from the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, ACCS administrators, college officials, and the media.
  • We assist colleges responding to data reporting requirements.
  • We conduct research on student outcomes, such as in developmental education and beyond, through persistence, retention, and completion.
  • We advise for projects that involve ACCS data, such as the Alabama Terminal for Linking and Analyzing Statistics on Career Pathways (ATLAS).
  • We guide the system in developing cohesive data standards.
  • We support colleges with assessment and accreditation activities.
